Dare to go Naked! **GIVEAWAY OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 31st**

Naked, nude, natural, neutral.  Any way you look at it, the naked look is in, and it’s hear to stay.  The classic every day looks you can get from any neutral palette, and the vampy evening looks they can morph in to make these all in one kits fabulous ways to carry you makeup counter with you.

I personally have and am madly in love with the Urban Decay Naked Palette.  I really love it.  Really.  That little 12 pan palette doesn’t look like much when you spy it on the Sephora shelves, but it packs a mighty punch.  These shadows have excellent coverage and pigmentation, and go on creamy and smooth.  The addition of a super high quality brush, that doubles as a crease brush when on it’s side, plus a little UDPP makes this a great value.  I purchased this from Sephora and is my go to kit for travelling because I can make so many looks out of it.  I pack my favorite UD 24/7 liner (Corrupt) with me, and bit of mascara and I’m off!  With a dozen colors but limitless combinations, you can be mild and meek or vampy and vivacious!

That doesn’t. however, stop me from coveting some of the competitors:

Too Faced Naked Eye Soft & Sexy (9 pans) - $36

NYX Nude on Nude (20 pans plus 10 lipcolors) - $25

Stila Natural Eyes (10 pans) - $39

NYX Nude on Nude (20 pans plus 10 lipcolors) - $25

Giveaway time!

So, tell me.   how do YOU get naked?  What Is your favorite nude look combo?  What is your favorite nude palette?  How do you get a soft and neutral look?

Leave your faves in the comments below and enter to win a special neutral treat! (sorry, no…I can’t afford to donate a Naked Palette lol but you never know what you might get!)

Oh that sounds pretty ;-) I don’t have apricot but I’ll have to approximate!

  2. Johanna says:

My fav nude look is with the Sigma Bare Eye shadow Palette. I’m a BE girl but I got this as a gift and loving it.

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

I keep looking at that one Johanna! Great choice!

  3. Susan Gibbons says:

    Great Saturday look, Thea!

Here’s my current favorite “natural” look:
Face: BE brightening primer, PTNT (light), BE original light, warmth to contour, A little sun AOFC in E/3, Tarte AC blush in Glisten, BE Turn on to highlight. Original MV.
Eyes: BE PTFE pearl, any Tarte AC cream eyeshadow (slate is my favorite!) all over lid, any dark crease color for outer 1/3 and V. Buxom leatherette, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara.

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

Love it! I would love to see your pics!

  4. Michelle Penick says:

My favorite lil nude look had to be, BE’s Cultures Pearl all over lid to brow, BE’s Vanilla Sugar on lid and BE’s Soft Focus Exploré using the soft focus brush in crease very lightly.

Depending on how tan my face can be, this is either nude or a light brown smokey nude look.

    1. Oh i adore Vanilla Sugar! Hrmm I think I have cultured pearl in there…thanks for the ideas Michelle!

  5. Heather Jolly says:

Funny how you this was your topic today- I used my Naked palette this afternoon too! I used gunmetal for my lids, and can’t remember what other 2 colors- but i liked the combo. I also used Boscia bb cream w/ Eden eye primer potion, and a new Laura Geller bronze lipstick that came in my back to bronze kit. For my eyes, I used a Maybelline stiletto black liner pen on top. I also used Tarte blush in “exposed”.

    1. Oh! I haven’t dipped in to Gunmetal yet! I must try that…I was so torn between the Boscia and the Dr J…I might have to buckle and buy the Bosica!

  6. Penny Abdalla says:

My “nude” look tends to get less nude as I go and I keep putting more makeup on….
That said my favorite nude look right now is BE foundation, True soft focus as blush, Pebbled beach as a highlight & Rapture ES with Mascara and a dab of Puff Pastry lip gloss. (All BE)

    1. That sounds gorgeous Penny! I think I”ll have to try that.
It’s true – Nude goes Boom when you keep futzing with it. I do that all the time!

  7. Sheila Deel says:

A quick and easy neutral look I do sometime is, (all from BE) Vanilla Sugar from lash to brow, drama in crease, and line with Charcoal, Flourish as blush, and Leslie buxom for lips.

    1. love love LOVE Vanilla Sugar!

  8. Joy Derfuss says:

My favorite nude look is used with all BE. Nude beach lash to crease. Celestine in crease and outter v. Upper and lower lash lines lined with bronze B&B. So beautiful.
Of course my favorite palette is the Naked Palette by UD. Soon I will have my hands on it. :)

    1. That’s a great look Joy! And oh la la you’d LOVE the Naked Palette! :-0D

  9. Jenn Peterson says:

I really like the Bare Escentuals Foiled Eye kit for a nude shimmery look. Disco and Night Owl are stunning colors! :)

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

you know…I have this kit, and haven’t used it! Better put it in my pile of “try this” :-D

  10. Anne Rice says:

When I go naked, its mascara and lipstick. When I go bare naked its just lipstick. Living in the south keeps me with enough summer color that I can pull it off!

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

      love it Anne!

  11. Diane Spencer says:

I love BE Nude Chic all over lid w/ Cocoa in crease & outer v. Lined w/ Twig. The new PA Savvy on lips & a touch of Warmth w/ Pure Radiance on cheecks. My simple go-to nude look!

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

Oh great combo! I have everything but twig. I’m going to try this! :-D
And i simply cannot wait to try the Nude Attitude kit!

  12. Jenny Ross says:

One of my Favorite looks is from the Modern Pearl Collection. Cultered Pearl all over my lid, Modern Pearl in the crease, and My New Fav Laura Geller Bianca shadow on the brow bone as a highlight & the inner corner of my eye. I also use that shadow on my check bones. Of course I use BE Foundation, Warmth, Tarte 12 hr Blush in Peaceful, BE Charcoal Liner on bottom and Teal on the top lid, BE Flawless Def Mascara, Mineral Veil & for my lips Cupcake Gloss… I LOVE LOVE LOVE this look… :)

    1. thinkbeautifully says:

Ohhhh Jenny that sounds pretty! I only have pieces of the Pearl collections, but I might have to see if I can try that ;-)

  13. Amy Michaels says:

I’m an eye-shadow newbie so I’m pretty much always sporting the “nude” look – whether its from just mascara and eyeliner or my *one* eyeshadow palette I got from Walgreens. As you can see, I’m in desperate need of a win LOL!

  14. Amy Michaels says:
